I like to say Spanish Tempranillo's are an acquired taste. They are earthy. They have a mineral taste. You often receive a hint of pepper. It depends upon the particular bottle you're having.
In this wine tasting, Sofia and Jorge are having a 2008. This one was opened for over an hour. They were at a wine tasting at a local wine shop so this one had time to breathe. That's a good thing for a wine that old.
This one is well aged at 11 years and it's what you can expect from a wine like this. As you can tell from the video, Sofia and Jorge don't both like this one. They differ in their preferences. Not everyone likes the same kind of wine.
